Ive pinched this from Guido's site. What a pathetic cartoon. Nadine is not suing in order to stop the press repeating the McBride slanders – she’s suing because a court of law is about the only possibility we have of discovering the whole electronic ‘paper’ trail of exactly who was copied in on this conspiracy to defame and what was contained in all their replies. There has to be a strong chance (given the earlier Chequers meeting about Red Rag) that someone else in 10 Downing Street was in the loop (very topical, ed) on this. If this can be proven then this provides evidence that Brown lied to Parliament and we won’t have to wait til next spring to turf the one-eyed Nokia throwing miserabalist Broon out on his ear.
