Political Betting Posted Wednesday, 27 May 2009 at 10:32 Mike Smithson, of the utterly brilliant http://politicalbetting.com/
has called me Nad, thanks Mi J
Thank you also for you projection regarding the Mid Beds constituency. As you are known as the God of all political projections, I take comfort.

Please PLEASE don't burn out. 30 years ago I burnt out doing a job I loved, and the response was "more fool you". There's plenty of support for you, and people are beginning to question the motives of the Daily Barclaygraph. May I suggest you let the mind of the serpent overrule the heart of a dove for a bit, and when your daughters say "enough", LISTEN to them.
Best Regards, GOM
Steve said: Responded: Wednesday, 27 May 2009 The very fact that you were willing to say something you believed, when you knew it would lead to being attacked on all sides, will serve you well when you face the voters. You're exactly the kind of MP this country needs. Easterross said: Responded: Wednesday, 27 May 2009 Nad,
you keep going girl. You have nothing to fear from that overweight perma tan has been, if he has the guts to stand against you.
You have many fans on PB.com and among the Tories on the blogosphere.
Cammo will need lots of free thinkers like you after the GE so more power to your elbow! James said: Responded: Wednesday, 27 May 2009 I'm afraid that if any 'musician' wishes to stand against you, we would have to be talking Lennon/McCartney,Simon/Garfunkel or even Dylan before they touch your quality as our MP.
Your black and white photo brings back memories of Liberty bodices and cod liver oil, Oh happy days..
Benny Austwick said: Responded: Wednesday, 27 May 2009 Great to see you back. Thankfully, you seem to be yesterday's news, blog a few things about something that has nothing to do with expenses and you'll be safe. All the very best. Quentin said: Responded: Wednesday, 27 May 2009 I know you have been through a very torrid time of late, undeserved, Nadine.
When my life seems as if it has hit the rocks, I am reminded of Kipling's great poem " If you can keep your head when all around you/ are losing theirs and blaming it on you/ If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you/But make allowance for their doubting too/If you can wait and not be tired waiting/Or being lied about, don't deal in lies/Or being hated, don't give way to hating/And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise/" etc, etc
It's too long(for a comment) but it does bring reassurance and comfort and very uplifting. Maybe not as much comfort as Mike Smithson for you though, but still worth a read. Tom Long said: Responded: Wednesday, 27 May 2009 Looking at Mid Bed stats, the Labour candidate must be wetting himself/herself. If perma tan stands, the angry Labour voters who wont quite be able to move to Nadine will pour into what they see as a non political vote, ie, perma tan.
The Labour candidate may even lose his/her deposit. Anonymous said: Responded: Wednesday, 27 May 2009 I think you are well fit. It doesn't add up... said: Responded: Wednesday, 27 May 2009 Do you know if the Telegraph is going to correct its story about Haselhurst?
Heffer seems to love himself so much that he believes that he is solely responsible for getting Haselhurst to pay back his £12,000 gardening charges, despite the fact that it was announced yesterday morning, well before Heffer's diatribe.
I see Dale has now picked up on it again.
