New Blog Arriving Soon, it says...? zzzzz zzzzzz zzzzz. Six o'clock (yawn), Sunday night (yawn/stretch), and still no blog? Has someone hacked your website, Nadine, or are you just teasing the electorate? (tut, tut). Or maybe I've just misunderstood 'soon'... Or maybe there hasn't been a reversal of the 'no weekend blog' policy after all, and 'soon' really means Tuesday... :-(

On a more serious note, your friend John Ball, apart from calling you a dear 'old' Nadine, has retold your fencehopping escapade in his column. Living in a household that has experienced several(distressing for my children) burglaries, indeed I know that almost every home in my street has had a least one burglary, I strongly urge you to be extremely careful what you blog, and not mention unlocked doors, etc. Most of us who read your blogs are decent citizens but there's no telling what lowlife read Ball's column.

Good to know someone else may be in the bad books besides me.Looking on the bright side, if the blog was started yesterday evening, perhaps we're talking War and Peace epic proportions here, pages and pages of blog.Or maybe that Peter has put his foot down again and switched off the spellchecker as it's a Bank Holiday.

Sweeper, I'm tempted to just say "new comment reply arriving soon", but I might be pushing my luck. ;-) Nah - I'm sure I haven't upset the good lady - I'd hate to do that. But if I had, what do you think it would take to put it right? A large cake? A big box of chocs? Or maybe a bottle of witch hazel for that bruise? :-)

I'm getting the cake, Mike H, when I do Nadine's weekly shop. You could buy some helium filled ballons though.Or a cushion.

You won't need a whole bottle, Mike,it couldn't have been a very big pot, so the bruise would only be a small one.I just hope Bill or Ben weren't at home at the time of the incident!!!! Cakes aren't in favour this month so it'll have to be the chocs.

The gardener is in his house having his tea, and at the bottom of the garden, behind the potting shed, everything is quiet. But Bill or Ben is just about to get a big surprise. Ohhhhh schlobalobadob.

A SMALL surprise Mike. Considering this incident had all the makings of a buglary, I would want to know where the Woodentops were. And I'd like to know if Weed was involved. What were Rag,Tag and Bobtail up to?Was the pot planted or were the plants potted or the flowers bedded? Of course, if Zeberdee came by later, he would have, no doubt, sprung into action. But I guess we'll never get to the bottom of it! Perhaps Nadine is leading us up the garden path!

I don't know about not blogging at weekends, but judging by this you're well on your way to the usual number of comments without blogging one word. Radio 4 stated that your village was the wettest in the UK yesterday- probably accounts for some of these comments.(AhAh)
